I Love Computer, despite being relatively unknown is not a flyby night… nor are we a scam and most definitely are not a fraudulent website. Please Note: that even though we operate under the sole proprietorship business model… the core reasoning for this has to do with that we simply don’t have enough business or conversions taking place for a legal registration to be viable… especially as it needs to be known that we run and operate this website with a very limited budget, so much that the registration costs are technically out of our budget for the time being.
And even though it’s common knowledge that there’s lots of fake or fraudulent websites, online scams or fraudsters online… I love Computer does not take things lightly when it comes to the safety and security of our visitors, clients or customers, so much so that we distance ourselves from all criminal activities.
The website was setup to ensure that it would be a safe and secure environment for the visitor, client or customer… so much so that we’ve taken the necessary steps to ensure that this is guaranteed (to include).
- This site, like most larger e-commerce sites… has been built to make use of Https:// (hypertext protocol secure) which means that all data within this website, including financial transactions are encrypted.
- As fraud and phishing is a common threat online and with lots of e-commerce sites, we’ve gone about ensuring that our clients/customers are protected against this with the use of Fraudlabs and the use of sms verification.
- Like competing companies, we do not share our clients personal details with anyone and that this information is only used for specific reasons like during delivery or support purposes… we also delete/remove data on request for clients to ensure the privacy of our clients.
- Financial Transactions are only handled through trusted payment gateway providers, like Payfast and Peach Payments… we don’t use any unknown or dodgy services.
- Unlike many e-commerce sites, we also offer our clients the ability to pay for orders in person (we have a credit/debit card payment facility) this service however is only offered to Gauteng/Johannesburg based clients.
- lastly there is a human being behind the operation of this website and therefore one may call should they feel uncomfortable or scared about making use of the website or our services.
